It’s been a wonderful 15 wedding seasons, thank you Seattle!
We are proud to announce that 2020 is The Invisible Hostess’ final season.
A note from owner, Sheena Kalso:
Decided pre-COVID-19, I had timed this public announcement to occur the first week of March, which happened to be when the global pandemic touched down in Washington state. Suddenly, my exciting news didn’t seem so important.
Now that we’re adjusting to the “new normal,” I thought I could share what is, to me, happy news. Happy because as the owner of The Invisible Hostess, I feel like my team and I have accomplished so much in the Seattle event industry. We pioneered services that are still in demand today and hold unrivaled industry awards. Happy because as a creative, I am able to close this career chapter with great pride and now have the ability to look forward to new pursuits. Happy because this team, and dozens of past employees, have had a hand in hundreds of “best days ever.”
I was eagerly planning a huge “retirement” party for August, but since that is unlikely, I do hope to celebrate with everyone who touched me and my team’s life: wedding friends, wedding couples, and past employees (there are over 100 of you!). The Invisible Hostess’ story is layered, long and wild. I look forward to being able to “go out with a bang” when we all can.
Until that time comes, thank you Seattle for the most life shaping journey of my life.
