ABOUT THE COUPLE:
Petra is an amazing ball of energy. She and her mother co-planned and were two peas in a pod. She was organized and had great attention to detail. Zac is a school teacher and while he couldn’t attend our daytime meetings, he was very involved. Being a New Year’s Eve wedding, they wanted a night that people would remember at historic Axis Pioneer Square.
A CHALLENGE I FACED:
During set up, the designer’s Uhaul keys were completely lost and the truck was stuck in the alley, in plain view of the ceremony and blocking the late night snack truck. With time ticking, we got the truck towed out of the alley just in time.
The week of the confetti cannon vendor cancelled our order saying they over booked leaving us in a bind for what we would do at midnight. I called the team and we decided handheld confetti guns, dispensed by catering staff. At the stroke of midnight, the catering team and myself launched confetti for a memorable midnight kiss.
MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT THE WEDDING:
The decor was absolutely stunning and this couple was simply two of the most beautiful people and inside and out. The groom coaches and his players were included into the wedding day as greeters and ushers. For young boys to get dressed up in suits and ties must mean they really loved him!
KIND WORDS FROM THE HAPPY COUPLE:
“I would recommend Invisible Hostess to any of my friends. Jocelyn was my coordinator and she helped me dig into details and ask questions I would have never known to consider. They are THE best.” — Petra
